Elyse Jensen, CFP®, CLU, ChFC
Founding Partner
Elyse is passionate about helping her clients envision and execute a financial plan that will help them achieve their goals. She began her career in the financial planning industry in 2009 and is the Founder of Azure Wealth Management, which delivers comprehensive financial planning, estate planning, and wealth management services to families and small businesses.
Elyse grew up on the Canadian Border of Minnesota with the Rainy River in her backyard. She attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth, where she was a national level, collegiate athlete and graduated with honors.
She is an active member of the West 7th neighborhood of Saint Paul, where she serves as a District Council board member, is the President of Historic Saint Paul, and the President of the Historic Irvine Park Association. She has also held numerous leadership and industry advocacy roles on a state and local level for the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
She lives in Saint Paul with her husband, sons, and their rescue cat and dog. They spend most of their free time renovating their historic home, the Wright Prendergast House, and enjoying outdoor activities. They are avid travelers and love biking, running, and boating.
Emily Ebbs
Director of Operations
Emily began her career at Northwestern Mutual in 2010. It was here she first worked for Elyse as her associate financial representative. Since then, Emily has worked in a wide variety of areas within the insurance and investment industry, including work in technology services, investment and compliance operations, office management, and developing and facilitating training programs for new associate financial representatives.
Emily graduated with honors from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in professional writing and editing. She is a native of Roseville, Minnesota and currently resides in the Roseville with her husband, daughter, and their two rescue dogs. She enjoys cooking, baking, crafting, and watching whatever is on PBS. She and Niall both enjoy photography and travelling, especially in Niall’s home country of Ireland. She is always happy to help plan a trip to Ireland!
Heath Jensen
Consultant
Heath brings Azure Wealth Management 15 years of experience in the public and private accounting fields. In addition to project-based consulting work he provides for Azure, he is also a Corporate Accounting Manager at Andersen Corporation. Throughout his career, he has provided managerial oversight to client auditing processes at RSM (formerly McGladrey), managed teams and processes within Target Corporate’s internal audit department, and overseen all financial systems and operations at one of Minnesota’s largest regional home building companies. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 2006.
Heath provides consulting services to small business clients to ensure their financial modeling, accounting processes and management are in alignment with their financial goals and mission. He equips Azure’s business clients with the necessary knowledge and confidence to effectively manage their financial operations, and helps build the foundation for appropriate employee benefit, business continuity, and succession planning.
Heath lives in Saint Paul with his wife and business partner, Elyse, their sons, and their two pets. When they aren’t renovating their historic home, The Wright Prendergast House, they can be found mountain biking, running, or just enjoying the local sights, sounds, and flavors of their community. They are avid travelers, arts enthusiasts, and beer lovers.
